Jane Worsley
CEO

With over three decades of experience in health and social care, I began my career at 17 as a Support Worker in a Children’s Home before training as a Nurse and Midwife. I opened my first care home while raising a young family and went on to hold senior leadership roles, including Regional Manager, Regional Director, and Deputy CEO of a major Health and Social Care Charity in the North West, overseeing growth from 120 to 630 services over 14 years. More recently, I served as COO of Advanced Childcare and Managing Director at Outcomes First Group, where I led operations across more than 200 schools and children’s homes nationwide.

Ian Oatley
Finance Director

Ian brings a wealth of financial strategic expertise to the Your Chapter team. In addition to his experience in residential care, education and fostering, Ian’s career has spanned a diverse range of industries and sectors, manufacturers and services and his skill set traverses every aspect of finance, from corporate finance, planning, control and analysis to system integrations and finance process innovation and optimisation.

Paul Robinson
Operations Director

Paul is a qualified social worker with over 15 years experience in Children’s Social Care. Paul joined Your Chapter in February 2024 and has brought a wealth of knowledge and skills from his previous role as an Ofsted Social Care Regulatory Inspection Manager. Paul is a valued member of our team executive team and in his role is responsible for all aspects of operational delivery.

Cerasela Raducanescu
Education Director

Cerasela has over 20 years’ experience in leadership and teaching in mainstream and independent schools across all ages (11-18 years) and abilities. Before joining Your Chapter in 2018, she was a Lead Teacher of Science and Technology, Head of Science Faculty, Key Stage 3 and 4 Science Coordinator and Teacher of Chemistry and Physics. Cerasela’s vision has always been to establish a productive, nurturing and highly professional environment to promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards.

Claire Bates
Head of People and Culture

Claire leads on all people-related strategy across the organisation, bringing a strong background in employee relations, workforce development and organisational culture. She is passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment for employees, ensuring teams are well-equipped to provide the highest standard of care to the children and young people in our care. Claire plays a key role in talent acquisition, policy development and employee wellbeing, aligning HR practices with the organisation’s mission to make every day better for the young people we support and our employees.

Luqman Shah
Head of Commissioning

Luqman has over 15 year’s experience working with children in residential care, foster care and educational services. Luqman leads the strategic programme of commissioning for young people, driving innovation to deliver better outcomes. He has a wealth of experience in developing bespoke models of service delivery to meet the holistic needs of the children and carers. His areas of responsibility include marketing, management of referrals and contracts, maintaining frameworks and submitting tenders as well as developing relationships with local authority partners. Luqman is a university graduate with a BSc (Hons), and a Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Care.

Sheraz Rattoo
Head of Property

Sheraz is responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s property portfolio to provide high quality homes for the children in our care, as well as our fleet services. Sheraz also overseas our new residential home and school build refurbishments, and is also the health and safety advisor for the organisation.

Taz Saeed
Regional Manager

Taz brings over 24 years of experience in residential childcare, having worked across a diverse range of homes. For the past 17 years, he has served as a registered manager, during which he has developed extensive expertise, practical skills and in-depth knowledge in the field. His wealth of experience is a significant asset to the team, particularly in supporting and guiding staff in applying strategies for working with young people.

 

Taz has consistently demonstrated confidence and competence in his work with young people, successfully managing numerous homes that have achieved Outstanding ratings from Ofsted. His proven track record reflects a long-standing commitment to excellence in residential care. Now serving as a Regional Manager and Responsible Individual (RI), Taz continues to show strong dedication to improving standards across all homes under his leadership. He plays a key role in mentoring and developing managers to achieve Good and Outstanding outcomes, driven by his enduring passion for supporting young people.

Amanda Cooke
Regional Director

With close to 20 years’ experience of working in residential care settings, Amanda has previously managed several children’s home for children who have experience neglect, sexual trauma child sexual exploitation. Amanda has solid experience of supporting young people who have experienced abuse, working with leading social care organisations when employed as a residential care worker, advancing her career to the roles of Home Manager, Operations Manager and Regional Manager/RI.

Chelsea Bryan
Regional Director

Chelsea qualified as a social worker in 2011 and began a career in residential childcare. Chelsea now has over 14 years’ experience working within residential childcare settings and has undertaken a range of roles within this including being an ‘outstanding’ registered manager and regional operations manager/ responsible individual. Chelsea has worked in truly attachment and trauma informed integrated services providing wrap around care and support to children and staff teams to support children on their journeys to recover from trauma. Chelsea holds qualifications relevant to the role and has won two awards for her contributions. 

Laura Duckett
Assistant Regional Manager

Laura has over 20 years of experience in residential childcare. She began as a teaching assistant for deaf and blind young people, later moving into care homes supporting children with emotional, social, and behavioural needs. Specialising in child exploitation, Laura has held roles including deputy manager, registered manager, and now assistant regional manager at HIVE, which supports children who’ve experienced sexual trauma. She’s led homes to achieve both GOOD and OUTSTANDING Ofsted ratings and currently oversees a portfolio with a 100% success rate in quality gradings.

Sally Croft
Assistant Regional Manager

Sally began working for your chapter in February 2025. Sally has worked in the residential sector since 2015 within a variety of roles including carer, registered manager, independent person, and Ofsted inspector. Sally has a level 3 qualification in children in residential care and a level 5 in leadership and management in children in residential care. Sally is self-motivated and a hardworking individual who is dedicated to working with children within the care setting.
