Virginia Perkins
CEO

Virginia has in-depth experience gained within private and public sector care organisations and has operational expertise across numerous fast-paced, values-driven environments. Virginia oversees the day-to-day running of the organisation as well as heading up workforce recruitment and engagement at Your Chapter, aligning HR strategy to support a high performing culture.

Ian Oatley
Finance Director

Ian brings a wealth of financial strategic expertise to the Your Chapter team. In addition to his experience in residential care, education and fostering, Ian’s career has spanned a diverse range of industries and sectors, manufacturers and services and his skill set traverses every aspect of finance, from corporate finance, planning, control and analysis to system integrations and finance process innovation and optimisation.

Luqman Shah
Head of Commissioning

Luqman has over 15 year’s experience working with children in residential care, foster care and educational services. Luqman leads the strategic programme of commissioning for young people, driving innovation to deliver better outcomes. He has a wealth of experience in developing bespoke models of service delivery to meet the holistic needs of the children and carers. His areas of responsibility include marketing, management of referrals and contracts, maintaining frameworks and submitting tenders as well as developing relationships with local authority partners. Luqman is a university graduate with a BSc (Hons), and a Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Care.

Hayley Ross
HR Manager

Hayley is our Human Resources Manager at Your Chapter, working alongside our HR advisors to effectively implement the people strategy involving recruitment, colleague engagement and retention. She has over 10 years of successful people management and HR experience in the private sector working in Legal Compliance, Payroll and Service Improvement roles. Passionate about developing people and supporting them to be the best they can be, and enthusiastic about making a positive difference to people’s lives, Hayley studied Criminology at The University of Manchester achieving a 2:1 BA(Hons) degree and has also gained a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management.

Tayub Ahmed
Regional Manager

Tayub has a proven track record on Leadership and Management and has achieved excellent outcomes for children and young people, staff teams and management of services to ensure all children and young people are safeguarded.

Tayub has worked both in educational and residential settings since 2014. Since then, Tayub’s work history has included being a bank residential care worker, residential care worker, senior residential care worker, deputy manager and a registered manager.

Tayub’s residential care portfolio includes working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, those with complex trauma backgrounds. Tayub’s focus and vision is child focused led and he is passionate about developing teams to look after our young people to the highest of standards.

Tayub is a university graduate with a degree in Business Economics, Tayub has also completed the NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce, NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Care & year 1 in child focused systemic practise.

Sheraz Rattoo
Head of Property

Sheraz is responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s property portfolio to provide high quality homes for the children in our care, as well as our fleet services. Sheraz also overseas our new residential home and school build refurbishments, and is also the health and safety advisor for the organisation.

Amanda Cooke
Regional Manager

With close to 20 years’ experience of working in residential care settings, Amanda has previously managed several children’s home for children who have experience neglect, sexual trauma child sexual exploitation. Amanda has solid experience of supporting young people who have experienced abuse, working with leading social care organisations when employed as a residential care worker, advancing her career to the roles of Home Manager, Operations Manager and Regional Manager/RI.

Eve Bartlet
Director of Education

Eve is the Director of Education and oversees all education for the group. She has 30 years’ experience working in both mainstream and Special Educational Needs settings, across primary and secondary education. She has worked in school leadership for the past 15 years and holds a master’s degree in educational Coaching and Mentoring. Her experience as a Special Needs and Leadership Consultant as well as a School Improvement Partner has enabled her to support schools and staff across the country in raising outcomes for pupils and staff. She has worked closely with a number of Local Authorities with regard to safeguarding and professional standards and educational compliance.

Cerasela Raducanescu
Regional Head Teacher

Cerasela has over 20 years’ experience in leadership and teaching in mainstream and independent schools across all ages (11-18 years) and abilities. Before joining Your Chapter in 2018, she was a Lead Teacher of Science and Technology, Head of Science Faculty, Key Stage 3 and 4 Science Coordinator and Teacher of Chemistry and Physics. Cerasela’s vision has always been to establish a productive, nurturing and highly professional environment to promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards.

Carole Piddington
Office Manager

Carole has come primarily from an NHS background for the past 12 years, working as a Personal Assistant in a variety of posts. Since joining Your Chapter, Carole has progressed from the role of Personal Assistant to Office Manager. In this role Carole is responsible for the day to day running of the office, ensuring a professional approach is always provided to visitors and staff with a no task is to big or small effigy.

Zeshan Khan
Finance Manager

A Qualified Accountant with in excess of 10 years’ extensive experience working in finance environments, Zeshan joined Your Chapter in 2022. He overseas the financial aspects of the organisation, ensuring Your Chapter is efficient in the way it operates. Zeshan has a wide remit of accounting responsibilities including internal/external reporting aspects, and enjoys being part of the Your Chapter family where he can leave a positive footprint with his dedication and commitment to help vulnerable children and young people.

Theresa Hoy
Human Resource Director

With over 20 years’ experience gained within private and public sector organisations, Theresa is a strategic and operational HR professional who excels in liaising directly with stakeholders of all levels and disciplines, serving as a front-facing ambassador and point of contact for escalations. Successfully leading and driving businesses, with a proven track record of aligning the HR strategy to support a high performing culture and promoting a positive working environment with immeasurable success. Theresa achieved a Masters in Business Management at Edge Hill University and both a qualified ISO Internal Auditor and H&S professional, she holds the exceptional ability to engage the strengths and motivate other individuals and teams cohesively to deliver goals and facilitate the flow of information across numerous business areas including risk management and compliance.

Pria Griffiths Sen
Quality and Performance Manager

Pria started her career in the Health and Social Care sector in 2001 as a trainee residential care worker. Since then, Pria’s work history has included setting up and managing Children’s homes, working as an Area manager for a Children’s residential care service and working as a Regulation 44 Independent Visitor. Pria’s residential care portfolio includes working with young people with behavioural difficulties, those with complex trauma backgrounds, and with young people diagnosed with learning difficulties and/or Autism. Pria’s key focus throughout her career continues to be to provide high quality, individualised and child-centred care services to vulnerable young people.

Sharron Edwards
Regional Manager

Sharron has over 25 years’ experience in the childcare sector and holds NVQ 4 – Registered House Manager Award, NVQ 4 – Caring for Children and Young People, Open University Course – Working With Children And Their Families, NEBS Management Award and Principles And Practice Of Working With Individuals With Autistic Spectrum Disorders (Cumbria University). Sharron has previously held the role of Responsible Individual for a large portfolio of homes and is focused on identifying and meeting the educational, social and emotional needs of each child, ensuring safe practice and positive outcomes.
